Ready to hang; Painting on verso casts a subtle rose colored halo behind the piece
Under-painted with ink and built up in layers of overlapping color and shape, the series of oval "vigil" paintings together represent the expression of the candlelight of a group vigil. Each flickering light painting is intended to acknowledge the emotional healing process through the act of holding vigil. You can project your own intention onto the symbolic votive light. From my 2021 solo exhibition "A Line Doesn't End With Me.
